Groups for Spiritual Formation and Relational Connections

-2022 Get Connected!
Jesus’ life, death and resurrection opens the door for our salvation and eternal life. But, it’s even more than that. Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection also opens the way for us to have a personal ongoing relationship with God, the Father, son and Holy Spirit now while we are still navigating this life. This relationship is vital to our lives and our ability to grow in love for God and for each other.
At Fayette UMC, we believe that Spiritual Formation is a key part of being connected in relationship to God and others. It is the process of being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ for the glory of God and for growing in love, understanding and compassion for others (2 Corinthians 3:17-18).
Spiritual Formation includes diving into and feeling comfortable with Scripture, becoming more self-aware of our own patterns of behavior, and opening ourselves to the direction of the Holy Spirit living inside of each believer and our collective community of believers. We can not be transformed without all of these pieces.

Here is a list of our current offerings and opportunities for each of us to participate in Spiritual Formation and transformation in Christ:
